What do you like to draw?
Mainly, steampunk and horror.
I enjoy old machinery and 19th century aesthetics. The bleak, lifelessness of machines has always fascinated me. I like painting brass and gold, simply because it's shiny, and I often drape my characters in vintage clothing, because I prefer old clothes over the simple and boring styles of today. I appreciate art deco and art nouveau, but also raw industrial and brutalist designs. I don't use many colors in my art, since I prefer more dull and realistic tones. I often pixel in an abstract and unclear way, and enjoy blending elements together as a single mass. I'm very particular about my art, and try to make things as detailed as I can. Admittedly, I'm too perfectionist when it comes to detail.
What programs do you use to make pixelart?
I use PaintdotNET for pixelart, and EzGIF for making animations/GIFs.
How long have you been making pixelart for?
Since 2017.
I made art traditionally in my childhood, however nowadays I'm practically always on my computer, drawing with a mouse.
Is art your current occupation?
No, I'm a hobbyist.
I'm currently studying to become an Entomologist, and will most likely get a job related to environmental science or biology. Art will remain a hobby for me, as that is where I am most happy.
Are your commissions open?
No, not really.
I'm studying and my artistic process is very slow. I'm not typically open to art trades either, since I simply don't have the time.
Can I repost your art?
Yes, as long as credit is given.
I do believe art should be as freely accessible as possible, and with credit more people will get to see my art.

Do you sell NFTs?
No.
I believe crypto currencies are unethical for a number of reasons. I will very likely never engage with them.
Which social media are you most active on?
Twitter/X, Bluesky and Instagram.
I do also post my art to Tumblr, Cara and sometimes Reddit, though I do not check these website frequently. My Deviantart is long abandoned, but still exists as an art archive (every now and then I update links there, but that's it really).
Content warnings
Why the +18 warnings?
Some of my art is inappropriate or disturbing. I do not draw NSFW, but my art typically contains dark themes, relating to real world politics, mental health and depictions of gore and viscera. I'm not strict on minors looking at my content online, though I'd advise doing so at your on discretion. It's pretty rare for me to post anything with sexual themes, though I've probably made sex jokes in the past which are probably still up.On Twitter/X, I do not engage with NSFW content, but I do like artworks depicting violence and nudity, as well as tweets on politics.
Do your social medias contain triggering material?
Certainly, though I try my best with trigger warnings. I add warnings to my posts in the following manner:// subject
Some of the subjects I always try to censor or add warnings to include:
Sexual abuse, depictions of suicide and self injury, rapidly flashing images, extremely bright images, highly graphic / disturbing gore and viscera
Subjects I usually don't add warnings to:
Most gore/vicera, nudity, mildly bright images, general dark or disturbing themes, unsettling or creepy imagery/sounds, loud sounds (in general, I'd recommend keeping your volume low for the internet), bugs / creepy crawlies
To be clear, I wouldn't say my social medias are completely safe from triggering material, so just keep that in mind. The censorship and warnings also vary depending on the social media platform. Bluesky is incredibly stringent with flagging content, whilst Instagram is lacklustre with safety measures.My Instagram posts typically contain a slide at the beginning warning of trigging content. Elsewhere, my warnings are most effective as muted words.
Muted words are words which can be added to a large list. Any post containing a word on the list will be hidden completely. These settings exist on Tumblr, Twitter/X, Bluesky, and most other social media platforms. You can find muted words in your settings (different websites may have different names for it)
